2 Corinthians 5:8 says; " We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord".
Your spirit will stand before God when you die. Will you (your spirit) be sent to Heaven or Hell? You and you alone choose where you will spend eternity while you are on this planet Earth.
God gives each of us a free will to choose Him or not, or to choose another god which is powerless. There is only one God, one Son (Jesus), and one Holy Spirit. These three are one and hold the power of life and death.
(Romans 10:8 KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; (10: 9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10:10) For with thy heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (10:11) For the scripture saith. Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (10:12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord overall is rich unto all that call upon him. (10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (10:14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard without a preacher? (10:15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written. How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (10:16) But they have not obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith. Lord, who hath believed our report? (10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (10:18) But I say. Have they not heard? Yes, verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Father forgive me of all my sins. Come into my heart and reveal truth to me. Be my Lord and Savior. Amen.
A very simple prayer yet a very powerful prayer. God will reveal all truth to you if you ask Him. He will fill you with the Holy Spirit and He will give you a peace that passes all understanding.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - You are a new creation.
Now turn away from sin. Tell someone that you are saved and on your way to Heaven.
When you opened your heart to receive Him, He came into your life at that very moment. He will help you as you pass though this lifetime on this planet Earth.
You have the privilege to ask Him anything and He will answer you. Learn about Him and His Word, for in the Word of God (Holy Bible) is the answer for everything you need.
